Wow! Board looks great! (I kinda like the slate-y blue).
And ... questions!
Do I need to re-apply? Or just post my character bio in the joining thread? Do you want folks to wait to do that?

We're asking everyone to hang tight for just a little while longer as we polish up the story line. We've chosen to do a bit of a time jump, so we just need to iron out all the details associated with that and let everyone know so you can account for the changes in your character's history. ^_^ After that, you'll just post the bio in the joining section and we'll take care of it from there. So just hold on for just a bit longer.

Please hit me up when I should post the bios, not sure that I have the previous versions in my possession so I may need the staff's assistance in getting Cyclops and Angel's adopted Bios in shape. Thanks, board looks great.

Oh and question, please? Without the previous board to use as a basis for applications and histories to use as a historical reference, or any threads to link back to, should this board just be considered a complete reboot and something new? How are we handling histories, relationships, etc?

We are now accepting bios, so everyone feel free to go to town on that front, and we'll get ya'll taken care of just as soon as we possibly can. Any assistance you may need feel free to grab an admin on AIM or by PM (or even some other way) and we'll help you however we can. As for your other questions, I'll have to double check with the rest of the team, but I'm pretty sure this is how it's going to work:
We did not like the idea of throwing away everything the players had achieved on the old board and starting all over again from the beginning, which is part of the reason we opted to do the time jump instead. Everything that happened on the old board (plus Decimation) is to be included in a character's history. Obviously if you can't remember every little detail of every little thread we're not going to turn down your app -- we won't remember every little detail either. We will, however, want to see the big things. If you can't remember or didn't play the character for the big things let us know, and at least one of us should be able to tell you those things you need to add in. As far as relationships go, we're mostly leaving that up to the players to decide amongst themselves. We were all pretty sure that the romantic relationships had all died or been ended, and friendships (continued from the old or starting a new one) can be handled by the players who's characters are involved. If there's a relationship we feel is so important to the character that it needs to be in the history -- such as Kitty dating Piotr -- we'll make sure to give you a quick nudge on the subject.
Like I said, I'm not one hundred percent sure I've got that correct, so I'll nag one of the other admins and have them give the positive yay or nay for ya. ^_^

Thanks, I'm not sure what happens in decimation or even what the details of that story/plot are. I posted a copy of the scott bio that I found but haven't found warren's adoption yet, since I usually wait to back up the approved copy, so I will most likely need greater assistance in including what you want with that one.
Anyway, so happy to see the board rebuilding!

I had a spesific question re the Decimation plot:
How did Exodus die/dissapear? And what and how did the B'hood (Magneto) find out about it? Meaning - if Exodus simply dissapeared in the middle, would Magneto and co know anything beyond that?

Exodus did not simply disappear. He was killed by Emma Frost and the Cuckoos at Worthington Labs. Though not stated, it was planned that Exodus attacked the X-Men there, their teams splitting off in various directions. Emma and Exodus met head to head and while Exodus had the upper-hand with his abilities, he was little match when Emma revealed the Cuckoos under mental cloak and destroyed his mind...and him, technically.
So Exodus was not at District X when he was killed. I'm not sure where Magneto would have been, but I assume the better place for him would have been at Dist. X with Mystique.

So, it sounds like the B'hood would not know the details of Exodus' dissapearance/death - unless someone at the X-men leaked the info.
(Magneto was at District X, wreaking havoc, as usual)

Well, I'm sure Exodus wouldn't have been alone at Worthington Labs. Someone might have seen Emma and the Cuckoos battle him. Its up to you, but I think it might be odd if no one knew what happened to Exodus.

I'm good either way. I think ... I had planned a two person team to the lab so we can say that word was brought back by whomever escaped.

You're Magneto. I'll trust you'll do as you see fit with the Brotherhood.

If you still have questions, please feel free to ask away.

I read that but not sure what it means to us, lol. The X-Men are always hated and feared with current events driving a wedge between the human and mutant populace. Are Mutants and Humans considered to be in an actual war? Or is the war referred to simply the conflict on Alcatraz Island from the Last Stand? Has the Chimera Virus been cured or is it still a threat? And I know that Decimation was a title or miniseries plot in the comics but I'm not sure how that impacts the Movie Verse history or what that actual plot or story is as I haven't had access to the comics for a few years now.
I get that the board is taking a six month jump but its not clear to me how the characters fit into that jump, I guess. How long has it been since the blanket of peace fell upon them? You mention a six month media black out but that leaves no time for anything else to have transpired. Did the government actually invade District X and did the X-men engage said government with the Brotherhood at its side? Is that the Massacre mentioned?
Maybe its just me (because I have no frame of reference for Decimation, the event) but I'm not sure what happened beyond Exodus being slain by the Cuckoos and Emma and that the students are afraid to leave the school but not really sure why if the school was never attacked, with the exception that all sides have suffered losses even though we don't know what they are, etc. Who is Mister M? Is he someone we should be aware of as X-Men and protectors?
