Hey Guys!
So, I've had a lot on my mind as of late. There is a lot going on in my head these days it seems. A lot of it is personal, but some of it is quite simply standard school and work issues that waste my free time away like it was nothing important. And of course, this drains my muse to write like you wouldn't believe. In the end it leaves me without the necessary tools to be a staff member here because Origins should never be reduced to someone's 'half-assed' efforts. This is an amazing place occupied by some of the greatest writers I've ever met. Though a lot of the people I once knew on the site are no longer with it, I've made friends with most of the new people and respect you all dearly. That is why I am signing off with a heavy heart. Origins was my home for a very long time, but with the current shape I'm in I cannot give back to the site what it has given to me. This isn't to say that I won't be back someday, but not for a while. I think it'll be a easy to say that I will return this Summer when my spirits are high and the sun has replenished my muse. And if the staff would still like my help at that point than I'd be more than honored to return to a full-time position.
My characters will be put up for adoption, though I might hang onto Julian for selfish purposes. He's my favorite character and the one that resembles my true natures the most...and probably the reason why I'll return here. So, in case I should return early, I'm going to put Julian on an LOA and provide an IC excuse. As I have stated in past threads, mostly on the original Origins, Julian was accepted to Empire State University and will soon be attending classes there. I think it'd be fun to think that he's gone for a semester and will then return at some later point. Hopefully by then my muse will be back.
So, until then, this is me saying 'Good night, and good luck!' I'm sure I will see you all around the neighborhood. And yes, I will still be popping in a lot just to see how things are going.
